BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd March, 2019) The government of China's eastern Jiangsu province told Sputnik on Friday it had no information on if there were foreign nationals among those injured in the deadly blast at a chemical plant.
"We have not yet received any information on if there are foreign nationals among those injured," the government spokesperson said.
The powerful blast hit the plant, located in the city of Yancheng, on Thursday, killing 47 people. Moreover, 640 people, including 90 people with grave injuries, have been transferred to hospitals after the explosion.
