Not only that, the husband also hit her head with a stick upon which the bride fell unconscious.
In a report published in a newspaper, the Egyptian husband had adopted this new and terrifying way to instil fear in his wife.
When the police asked the husband about his behaviour, he simply said that his mother had instructed him to keep his wife in control from the very first day.
The man said that his mother had directed him to do so otherwise his wife will also become disobedient just like the wives of his brothers.
He said that he had slapped the bride two, three times as she came to his house. The girl also retaliated and hit him upon which he got angry.
He then took her to kitchen and hit her head with a steel stick.
Police said that the girl was brought to hospital in her bridal dress.
Doctors said that the bride had received severe fractures.
