A gunman has reportedly opened fire in the central Dutch city of Utrecht injuring a number of people.

A gunman has reportedly opened fire in the central Dutch city of Utrecht injuring a number of people.
The man reportedly opened fire in a tram at 24 October Square in the city of Utrecht.
Utrecht police said a square at a tram station outside the city centre had been cordoned off.
Emergency services, including police and medical helicopters have reached the scene of the shooting.
Images from the scene show a tram stopped in the middle of a junction surrounded by emergency emergency service vehicles.
Utrecht police confirmed there had been a shooting and officers are at the scene.
The police is chasing the gunman while the number of injured persons is not known yet.
