New Zealand mosque shooter thinks he would win Nobel Peace Prize

Tarrant compared himself to Nelson Mandela and claimed he would someday win a Nobel Peace Prize over the Christchurch attacks.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 17th March, 2019) Brenton Harrison Tarrant, the accused in Christchurch mosque attack, thinks he would win the Nobel Peace prize for carrying out the deadly attack.

Before carrying out the shooting, Tarrant uploaded a 74-page manifesto explaining his motivations and reasons behind the attack.

Amongst poems and musings about his philosophies in the document, Tarrant compared himself to Nelson Mandela and claimed he would someday win a Nobel Peace Prize over the Christchurch attacks.

He even bragged that he would be released from jail after 27 years, exactly like the former South African president.

Tarrant's manifesto appears to resemble the one written by Anders Behring Breivik, the domestic terrorist whose attacks in the Norwegian capital of Oslo in July 2011 left 77 dead and another 209 injured.

Tarrant had sent emails to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Adern and 70 other people before the attack.

During afternoon prayers on Friday, he opened fire inside the Masjid al Noor mosque in central Christchurch, killing 41. Another seven were killed at a second mosque five kilometres away in suburban Linwood, three of them outside the building.

Australian national Tarrant was charged with murder over the fatal shootings in two mosques.

Tarrant had anti-Muslim and anti-migrant views and also expressed admiration for Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik.
