Eight including four women held for looting houses in Islamabad

Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police has arrested eight criminals including four women and recovered eight snatched mobile phones, gold ornaments, bike and pistols from them, a police spokesman said

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 13th March, 2019) Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police has arrested eight criminals including four women and recovered eight snatched mobile phones, gold ornaments, bike and pistols from them, a police spokesman said.Following special directions of Inspector General of Police Muhammad Amir Zulfqar Khan, he said that Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed assigned special task to SP (Investigation) to ensure arrest of those involved in criminal activities in various areas of Rural zone and Noon police station.

He constituted special teams under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including. ASIs Rana Tasneem, Shakeel Ahmed Butt and others. These teams busted two gangs comprising eight criminals and recovered valuables from them. These gangs used to barge into the houses after portraying themselves as sweepers and commit dacoities at gun point.These gangsters have been identified as Ajmal Khan, Arzman Shah,Tanzeel Ahmed, Nazim, Salaha Bibi, Chanda Bibi, Farzana and Rehana.

Four separate cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.DIG Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.He said that Islamabad Police would also safeguard its youth from various evils like use of drugs and ensure brighter future of them.He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involve d in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
