Kuwait Closes Country's Airspace To Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft - Reports

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th March, 2019) Kuwait's Civil Aviation closed the country's airspace to Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft following the deadly Ethiopian Airways crash, local media reported on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, UK, German and French aviation authorities announced similar decisions.

Kuwait's aviation authority said the exploitation of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft had been suspended for all flights including overflights until further notice.

On Sunday, a Nairobi-bound Boeing 737 MAX 8, operated by Ethiopian Airlines, crashed minutes after takeoff from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All 157 people from over 30 countries aboard the flight were killed.
