The JUI-F chief calls the party’s central executive council meeting to discuss the protest plan
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 11th March 2019) JUI-F President Maulana Fazlur Rahman has announced a long march against the government and called party’s central executive council meeting in Peshawar on March 19 to prepare the strategy.
The head of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is very vocal against the government and earlier tried to unite opposition parties to launch a joint march against PTI government.
But he failed in his attempts and announced his single party protest to oust Imran Khan for power corridors. Fazl says the government came into power after rigging and hence has no moral authority to rule over the country.
“We will discuss our plan for long-march on March 19 and hopefully announce the date of the march on the same day,” said a senior member of the party.
Earlier, JUI-F president said he did not need the support of any political party to lunch a movement against the government. He said the PTI was fulfilling the Zionist agenda and bent upon damaging the ideological boundaries of the country, which he said his party and islam lovers would not allow.
The JUI-F chief however so far has not announced the date of the protest march and it was also unclear from where he would lunch his movement.
