India detains 70-year-old farmer for crossing border by mistake

The Indian forces took him in custody and declared him a terrorist.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 9th March, 2019) The Indian forces took a 70-year-old man farmer in custody for crossing the border mistakenly.

According to details, an elderly man, identified as Muhammad Ashraf, was busy in farming at working boundary in a bordering village in Zafarwal sector when he mistakenly crossed the border.

The Indian forces took him in custody and declared him a terrorist.

The Indian media continues with its efforts the innocent man as a terrorist.

The Border Security Force (BSF) are displaying the elderly man as a terrorist on Indian media.

The family of Muhammad Ashraf has requested the government to bring him back to the country.

Earlier, war-mongering India had decided to deploy 220 additional soldiers at the border.

Meanwhile, at least 375 families residing in the border areas have been shifted to safe places.

At least 2599 people belonging to 375 families of four sectors of Kotli, including Charhoi, Khuiratta, Nakyal and Tatta Pani sectors, have been shifted to safe locations as the Indian forces continue to resort to ceasefire violations along the LoC.

Every day shelling has a direct bearing on the livelihood of LoC residents as it is damaging their houses, shops, fruit trees and crops.

Around 503,000 people from 79,992 families reside along the LoC and have been directly exposed to Indian shelling.
