BERLIN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th March, 2019) Russia is going to deliver S-400 Triumph (NATO reporting name SA-21 Growler) air defense systems to Turkey by the end of the year, Vladimir Ermakov, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Nonproliferation and Arms Control, told Sputnik on Wednesday."The contract on S-400 Triumph deliveries to Turkey is being implemented in strict accordance with the schedule. We believe that it would be completed by the end of this year. We are aware of the pressure blatantly exerted by Washington on Ankara, aimed at disrupting this deal. We are assessing that as nothing but an attempt to undermine positions of the main competitor on the global arms market. That is a demonstration of the weak positions of the United States that is unable to propose something better than our products in terms of price and quality," Ermakov said.
