LONDON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th March, 2019) UK citizen Lewis Ludlow was sentenced on Wednesday to life imprisonment for plotting a massive terror attack in London, with the verdict having been delivered by London Central Criminal Court's judge Nicholas Hilliard.Ludlow, 27, who suffers from autism, admitted his guilt last year saying that he financed the Islamic State terror group (IS, outlawed in Russia) and plotted a terror attack in London.
According to Hilliard, the plotted terror attack might have resulted in a big number of fatalities.
The court also found out that Ludlow, nicknamed "The Eagle," was looking for a site for the terror attack and called the Oxford Street an ideal place for such an attack. He also tried to join IS on the Philippines.
Ludlow will be able to ask for an early release after 15 years of imprisonment.
