Indian state to add Abhinandan’s chapter in school syllabus

Rajasthan’s Education Minister Govind Singh said that the decision has been taken to honour the Indian Air Force (AIF) pilot.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th March, 2019) The Rajasthan government has decided to include a chapter on Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan in their school syllabus.

Rajasthan’s education Minister Govind Singh said that the decision has been taken to honour the Indian Air Force (AIF) pilot.

He said that the school syllabus will include a chapter especially on Abhinandan.

The governor however did not specify the class that will be taught about Abhinandan.

On the other hand, released Indian pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan is being viewed with suspicion as he returned India.

Media reports said that Indian intelligence agencies doubt that Abhinandan might have spilled some secrets about Indian Army under the pressure of Pakistan Army.

This is why Abhinandan is still in the custody of Indian intelligence agencies. Abhinandan is being interrogated about why he gave a video statement in favour of Pakistan Army.

Pakistan released Indian fighter pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan and handed him over to Indian authorities at Wagha Border on Friday evening.

The Indian pilot was transported to Wahga Border after his traveling documents were finalized by Pakistani officials.

His release was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan as a peace gesture during a speech in Joint Session of the Parliament.

Wing Commander Abhinandan was arrested on Wednesday when his aircraft was shot down by Pakistan Air Force after violation of Pakistan air-space.
