The talks on the development of air transport links between Russia and the United States were held in Washington on February 26-28. Sputnik sources previously reported that the Russian side in negotiations with the US aviation authorities may raise the issue of problems with obtaining US visas by Russian pilots.
"The results of the negotiations between the United States and Russia on air traffic are positive. I don't know whether they discussed pilots' visas or not. All I can say is that the negotiations regarding the expansion of contacts and cooperation were rather thorough and comfortable," Dietrich told reporters.
"We hope that these contacts will expand further," the minister stressed.
