MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th March, 2019) The Ruptly video agency, which is a project of the RT broadcaster, has launched a new Russian-language portal for the media working in all Russian regions and some of the neighboring countries, RT said Monday.
Users of the Russian-language Ruptly platform will have access to exclusive news content, videos on culture, science, sport and politics as well as viral videos from Russia and other countries.
In addition, a new Ruptly project "Region" will offer regional Russian media special subscription terms and access to all materials of the agency. A special feature will allow users to monitor videos that are relevant for a particular region.
"Ruptly in Russian language is our small contribution to regional journalism," Sputnik and RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan said.
The launch of the Russian-language Ruptly platform coincided with a large-scale project on covering Winter Universiade 2019 in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, which opened on Saturday.
