Sonu Nigam lambasts Indian media for celebrating small win

He advised the Indian media to be responsible and "not celebrate winning at the first ball.”

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 2nd March, 2019) Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has lambasted Indian media for celebrating the return of Indian pilot Abhinandan.

Addressing a press conference in India, Sonu Nigam said that our country is going through a time. I never support war no matter what.

However, in view of the current situation, we stand by our country.

Sonu Nigam further said that India should not fire crackers at a small win.

He advised the Indian media to be responsible and "not celebrate winning at the first ball.”

"Let they take a shot first. If you tease, they are going to tease you back so don’t be childish," he said.

Despite Prime Minister Imran Khan’s repeated offers for peace and dialogue, India and its media continue with their war mongering.

Even the prime minister’s decision to release detained Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman tomorrow is also being viewed through propaganda lens rather as a goodwill gesture.

Indian media and Indian people are terming it as their diplomatic victory, asserting that Pakistan took the step under ‘pressure’ and ‘fear’ of India.
