WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd March, 2019) The United States expects to continue dialogue with Russia on aviation issues following a meeting earlier this week of experts from both countries, a State Department spokesperson told Sputnik on Friday.
"We expect to have continued dialogue on air services going forward," the spokesperson said.
Aviation experts from Russia and the United States met in Washington for two days of talks on February 26 and 27.
The State Department said the discussions were part of regular dialogue between the two countries on matters of aviation.
Russia's Transport Ministry said last week ahead of the meetings that the talks would be focused on the development of air traffic.
