ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 27th February, 2019) Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has commended the armed forces for downing two enemy jets and said that the nation was proud of its defense forces.In a statement here, he said that Pakistan did not want war as islam was the biggest upholder of peace but if India did not change its outlook, this country had the full right for its defense. He said the successful operation by the Pak Air Force had raised the morale of the nation.
He said the Pak armed forces had taught a lesson to India and if the enemy went ahead with its war designs, it would perish in its flames.Sirajul Haq said that the armed forces befitting response to Indian aggression was in line with the nation's sentiments and aspirations. He said that India itself had initiated the provocation and this country knew how to deal with the situation.The JI chief said that the core issue between Pakistan and India was Kashmir and as long as this issue was not resolved, peace was not possible in the region.
He said that New Delhi's belligerence could lead to a war between two nuclear powers.He said that such a war would not be confined to South Asia alone but could engulf the whole world. He said if the word community wanted to escape a devastating war, it should take immediate steps for the solution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions which guaranteed the grant of the right of self determination to the Kashmiris.Sirajul Haq said that due to India's jingoism, more than two billion people of the region were living under the shadow of war and around seventy liberation and separation struggles were going on inside India.
In case India did not see the writing on the wall, it won't be able to keep its very existence.The JIP chief welcomed the announcement by Turkey and the OIC for all out support to this country. He said that not only the Muslim world but all peace loving western and European countries were supporting Pakistan's stance for the grant of the right of self determination to the Kashmiris. NNI
