KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 27th February, 2019) Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar stressed the need of well quality foods for a healthy society. food adulteration reached to a dangerous level and the hotel kitchen are in a worst condition.He was speaking in the 11th Consumer Foods Safety and Quality Control program in a local hotel on Wednesday.Mayor Karachi said citizens health is our priority however we never pay attention on this important thing.
He said in our country local bodies were not given powers though this is a basic issue and should be controlled by local bodies.He said the Sindh government has established the Food Authority which should work speedily in whole Sindh.He said we need to bring down number of patients in hospitals by taking necessary initiatives in the health and quality control sector.He assured support to the Consumer Association and said such programs gives awareness to the employee and employer.
