Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 25th February, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 51% of Pakistanis report that if they observed a roadside accident in which a person got injured, they would try to help the person, but not deem it necessary to call the police. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “God forbid, you observe an accident on the roadside in which a person is injured. What will you do at that moment?” In response to this question, 51% said that they would help the injured person but not inform the police, 32% that they would help the injured person and inform the police and 12% said that they will silently leave the place of the accident, while 5% did not know or did not wish to respond.
