ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2019) Deals worth circa AED2.7 billion were announced on the fourth day of the International Defence Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, bringing the total value of contracts signed since the start of IDEX and NAVDEX 2019 to AED19.65 billion This was announced by Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Hassani , Official Spokesperson of IDEX 2019, and Naval Staff Colonel Fahad Nasser Saif Al Thehli, Official Spokesperson of NAVDEX 2019, during a media briefing on Wednesday.
Local firms were awarded around AED787 million worth of deals, whereas international deals amounted to about AED2 billion. Global companies from Russia, US, France, United Kingdom and Columbia won major contracts.
