MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th February, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted on Wednesday the existence of mutual claims between Russia and the United States, but stressed that this was not a reason to bring the situation to a new Caribbean crisis."We have, in general, quite good contacts between our military, at working level, there is something to work on together, specialists are at work," Putin said at a meeting with representatives of Russian news agencies and the print media.
According to the president, Russia and the United States maintain regular contacts, especially on Syria.
"Yes, there are problems, they create more and more of these problems, but there are also mechanisms and tools for working together on these problems," Putin said.
"I hope that they will be used to prevent new crises in the world similar to the Caribbean crisis. There is no reason for that," he stressed.
