MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th February, 2019) Private US aerospace company SpaceX has announced that Indonesian communications satellite Nusantara Satu will be launched on board the Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in the US state of Florida on February 21.
"Static fire test of Falcon 9 complete targeting February 21 launch of Nusantara Satu from Pad 40 in Florida," the company said via its Twitter account on Monday.
SpaceX already successfully launched an Indonesian telecommunications satellite into orbit last August.
The Nusantara Satu satellite was produced by US manufacturer SSL and is set to provide data, video and voice distribution along with broadband internet throughout Southeast Asia.
