Roadside Bomb Blast Kills At Least 3 Civilians In Southern Afghanistan - Reports

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th February, 2019) A roadside bomb explosion has claimed the lives of at least three civilians, including a minor, in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar, local media reported on Sunday, citing police.

According to local police chief, the blast occurred not far from the province's central Daman district, the Khaama Press News Agency reported. Apart from a child, two men are reported to have been killed in the incident.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, the news outlet reported, adding, however, that the police chief believed that the militants of the Taliban movement, who have long been engaged in an armed confrontation with Kabul, could be responsible for the blast.
