ABU DHABI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th February, 2019) Russian unguided aircraft rocket S-13-T, capable of piercing concrete and continue moving toward its target, will be showcased outside Russia for the first time ever at the IDEX-2019 arms exhibition in the United Arab Emirates, Vladimir Lepin, the director general of the Russian arms manufacturer Tecmash, told Sputnik.
The exhibition is slated to start in Abu Dhabi on Sunday and last through Thursday.
"Several types of aircraft rockets and warheads will be showcased on the UAE territory for the first time ever as well, including the unguided aircraft rocket S-13-T, which was [already] exhibited at the Army-2018 [international defense forum, held in the Moscow region last August] but will be now demonstrated outside Russia for the first time ever," Lepin said.
�The S-13-T rocket has two autonomous warheads: the first one is designed to penetrate through armor and other barriers, and the other warhead is of a high-explosive type. The rocket is capable of piercing 1 meter (3.2 feet) of� concrete covered by up to 3 meters of earth or up to 6 meters of earth.
