BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th February, 2019) China is not expressing any intention to join potential talks to overhaul the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), Russian Ambassador to Beijing Andrei Denisov said Thursday.
US President Donald Trump suggested during his recent State of the Union address that a new agreement could include China and other countries.
"China is not party to the treaty and is not showing any intention to join any negotiating formats for a clear reason. Beijing is just not willing and not ready... So far, this issue is not on agenda," the ambassador told reporters.
