Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 7th February, 2019) Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has said that the government will be responsible if something happens to her father.
Taking to Twitter, Maryam Nawaz posted a series of tweets criticizing government for not providing proper treatment to her father Nawaz Sharif.
“One board after another, one hospital after another. First PIC, then jail, then Services Hospital where there is no cardiac ward. Now again trying to take Nawaz Sharif to PIC. Mian sb refused and said he is neither a khana badosh (wanderer) nor ready to be humiliated. I want to go back to jail,” she said in her first tweet.
“I trusted Allah in tough times. We never demanded the government to provide treatment to Nawaz Sharif and neither will. These people had ridiculed my mother’s illness while she was on death bed,” the PML-N leader continued.
“I tolerated everything quietly and only sought help from Allah. I didn’t do politics on anything but the government will be responsible if they try to play with my father’s illness or politicise his health,” she further said.
Nawaz Sharif was sent back to jail on Thursday after he refused to be shifted to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
He said, “Three medical boards have already examined me. I have gone to PIC before and then I was brought to Services Hospital.”
This shifting from place to place is not good, the former premiere had said.
He said that he has packed his bag, he should be sent back to jail.
Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Services Hospital despite it not having a cardiac ward.
Expressing reservations over the hospital, Nawaz Sharif had earlier said he is getting nothing but mental torture here. Therefore, he should be shifted back to jail.
Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Services Hospital on Saturday after the Interior Department Punjab allowed his medical treatment.
