MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th February, 2019) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that he welcomed the initiative of Uruguay, Mexico and Caricom members to hold a conference on February 7 in Montevideo to discuss Venezuelan settlement.
Maduro told the RT broadcaster in an interview that the initiative was aimed at "building the scenario of mutual understanding."
The president also warned of the sustained threat of a coup in the country.
