Monitoring cell established to check performance of ministers, government officers

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders will now overview the performance of ministers and government officers.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 31st January, 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the party leaders to monitor the performance of government officers.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders will now overview the performance of ministers and government officers.

Sources said that a party-level monitoring cell will be established for the purpose.

PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad will head the monitoring cell. The monitoring cell will receive complaints about public complaints against ministers or any government officer.

After reviewing the complaints, the monitoring cell will transfer the complaints to the prime minister.

Arshad Dad said that the purpose of monitoring cell is to enhance the performance of public office holders and transfer complaints against them to the prime minister.

Earlier, the PTI government launched Pakistan Citizen Portal with an aim to timely address problems of the people and get their feedback.

The portal is a simple tool that allow citizens to register themselves through an app and send their complaints to the concerned government departments.

The complaints automatically reach the heads of relevant departments who take appropriate step to address the matter. The maximum time limit for addressing the complaint is ten days.

The citizens can provide feedback and rate their complaint resolution to inform authorities in case if complaint is not resolved to their level of satisfaction.

The motive of the Citizen's Portal is that "No complaint will remain unresolved".
