Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 24th January) Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan turned true the dream of a Lebanese woman by gifting her a new house.
Upon the orders of the crown prince, the Lebanese woman was provided with a home in a new building equipped with an elevator to allow her to move around.
The 30-year-old Lebanese woman Rita expressed her extreme pleasure at this gift.
“It is a beautiful home.. I cannot believe it. Thanks to Shaikh Mohammad and the UAE,” she said.
Rita’s tragic story was recently showed on a Lebanese tv channel where she had pleaded for help.
UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, along with the channel team, visited the woman and told her the good news about moving to a new home. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with all the facilities Rita needs.
Rita, who is paraplegic, lives with her elderly father. They were threatened with eviction from their apartment because they had not been able to afford the rent for several months.
