MEXICO CITY (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th January, 2019) The number of people killed in an explosion at a ruptured oil pipeline in Mexico's central Hidalgo state has increased to 73, Governor Omar Fayad said on Saturday.
Previous death toll stood at 66.
"So far there have been 73 killed," the official said.
For his part, the country's Health Secretary Jorge Alcocer said that 80 people were injured, some seriously. They have been transferred to hospitals in the state of Hidalgo and Mexico City, he added.
