MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th January, 2019) A UN-led meeting on the implementation of the Yemeni prisoner exchange agreement began on Wednesday in Jordan's capital, Amman, a UN source told Sputnik."This is a meeting of the follow-up committee that is in charge of implementing the agreement that has already been reached on the prisoner exchange ... The meeting started today and they are going to continue through tomorrow," the source said.
The source confirmed that both representatives of the Yemeni government and the Houthi rebels, locked in a years-long conflict, had arrived at the meeting.
