MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th January, 2019) The United States is trying to use sanctions against Tehran to provoke a widespread anti-government movement in Iran, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said."The US strategic goal regarding Iran is obvious - to use sanctions to provoke a broad anti-government movement and completely destabilize the situation in that country," Patrushev said in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.
Meanwhile, neither Russia nor the International Atomic Energy Agency have any evidence of Tehran violating the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Patrushev stressed.
