US President Donald Trump' legal team should be able to "correct" Special Counsel Robert Mueller's final report in the investigation of allegations of Trump-Russia collusion and Russian meddling in the 2016 US election, Trump's lawyers Rudolph Giuliani said on Friday
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) US President Donald Trump' legal team should be able to "correct" Special Counsel Robert Mueller's final report in the investigation of allegations of Trump-Russia collusion and Russian meddling in the 2016 US election, Trump's lawyers Rudolph Giuliani said on Friday."As a matter of fairness, they should show it to you - so we can correct it if they're wrong," Giuliani told The Hill in a telephone interview.
Meanwhile, Giuliani admitted that withdrawing parts of Mueller's report would be a difficult process.
"I acknowledge that," Giuliani said.
Trump has said earlier that he may declassify documents related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
Republicans, including the US president, have charged that Democrats made up the allegations and that publishing the documents would reveal the truth thereby dealing a major blow to the credibility of the charges and the accusers.
Moscow has repeatedly denied interfering in the US election, saying the allegations have been invented to excuse the election loss of a presidential candidate as well as deflect public attention from actual instances of election fraud and corruption.
