BERLIN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas' visit to Russia has been included into the German Foreign Ministry's agenda, while the date has not been determined yet, a source in the ministry's press service told Sputnik on Friday."The date of the visit has not been determined yet," the source said, specifying that the visit was "on the agenda" of the German Foreign Ministry.
On Thursday, Maas announced in his address for the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations that he would travel to Russia "to seek direct dialogue" and also to support economic reforms in the country.
He also said that Germany needed Russia as a foreign policy partner, especially to resolve Ukrainian, Syrian, and Yemeni crises.
