Asif Arif claimed that Malik Riaz took the ownership of Bahria Town through fraud.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 10th January, 2019) Another Bahria Town scandal has surfaced as a man, named Asif Arif, claimed that Malik Riaz took the ownership of Bahria Town through fraud.
He said that he and his friends had started the Bahria Town project.
He further said that Bahria Foundation North Pakistan Industrial Complex and Unicon International together started the project.
He said that Malik Riaz is the brother-in-law of Vice Admiral (r) Javed Iqbal who had included him for consultation.
He alleged Malik Riaz of illegally using the letter of Bahria Foundation North, adding that he included his name in the ownership of Bahria Town by fraud.
Asif Arif has also submitted an application in Human Rights Commission while he has demanded the chief justice to take notice of the issue.
He said that he took long to reveal the scandal as his lawyers had advised that Malik Riaz is quite powerful and we can’t win the case against him.
The situation is different now, he said.
