Teaser of much awaited PSL 4 anthem released

The PSL season 4 will kick off in Dubai on February 14, 2019.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 3rd January, 2019) The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has released a teaser of the much awaited anthem for Pakistan Super League season 4.

The anthem titled ‘Khel Deewano Ka’ will be produced by Shuja Haider while Fawad Khan will lend his voice to the song. The song will also feature rapper Young Desi to add more flavour to it.

Sharing the teaser, the PCB on its official account said, “It is not just a song, it is an anthem and it takes a lot of effort to make one that the fans love and adore.”

The complete version of the anthem is expected to be launched in a ceremony next week.

The earlier anthems for PSL were sung by Ali Zafar.

The PSL season 4 will kick off with the tournament opener between defending champions Islamabad United and the sixth team in Dubai on February 14, 2019.

The tournament will culminate with the final in Karachi on March 17.

A total of 34 matches will be played in the fourth edition.

For the first time in the history of PSL, Lahore and Karachi will share eight matches between them at the backend of the 32-day event.

Karachi's National Stadium will host five matches with the first one on March 7 while the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host three matches.

A total of 14 matches will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, four matches will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi and eight matches will be staged at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.

South Africa's AB de Villiers and Brendan Taylor of Zimbabwe will play for Lahore Qalandars and Steve Smith of Australia will represent the sixth team.

Sixteen other international players will also play in the tournament.
