MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th December, 2018) Defense Industry Executive Committee under Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's chairmanship on Thursday has discussed the country's new weapon systems in Ankara, the office of the Turkish president said.
"The meeting of the Defense Industry Executive Committee has been held today under the chairmanship of our President Tayyip Erdogan. Projects aimed at creation and modernization of domestic weapon systems for our armed and security forces, which successfully carry out operations within the country and abroad, were discussed during the session," a statement of the president's office reads.
According to the statement, a number of decisions in the field of weapons and ammunition for use on land, air and sea were made during the meeting.
