CAIRO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th December, 2018) A collision between a truck and a passenger van in Egypt's northern El Beheira governorate left eight local residents killed, the country's Ministry of Health and Population said in a statement.
Four passengers of the van had been hospitalized, the statement added.
The accident took place at the Cairo-Alexandria freeway.
The truck had overturned and fallen on the van after the collision, the ministry pointed out.
