Earlier in the day, media reported that at least two people were injured in the blast, while two attackers were neutralized.
Prior to the blast, shooting took place in the building. Currently, a wing, where the office of the Libyan foreign minister is located, is on fire, the al-Wasat media outlet reported.
The evacuation of the ministry's personnel is underway, according to the outlet.
