MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th December, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he was "generally satisfied" with the work of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's government, adding that the country's budget surplus was an evidence of the cabinet's good performance.
"In general, yes," Putin said at his annual press conference when asked if he was satisfied with the work of Medvedev's team.
"You have mentioned [budget] surplus, it is indeed a good indicator of the government's work and of the economic bloc of the government. As I have said in the introductory remarks, for the first time since 2011 we have a budget surplus, [a surplus] of 2.1 percent," Putin stated.
