Corbyn to Launch No Confidence Motion Unless May Sets Brexit Commons Vote Date - Reports

UK Labour's leader Jeremy Corbyn is expected to say in the House of Commons later on Monday that Labour will bring forward a motion of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May unless she can immediately announce the date for the parliament vote on the Brexit deal, UK media reported.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 17th December, 2018) UK Labour's leader Jeremy Corbyn is expected to say in the House of Commons later on Monday that Labour will bring forward a motion of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May unless she can immediately announce the date for the parliament vote on the Brexit deal, UK media reported.

According to Sky news broadcaster, Corbyn will call for a no confidence vote in this case, citing May's "failure to allow the House of Commons to have a meaningful vote straight away on the withdrawal agreement and framework for the future relationship between the UK and the EU."

The prime minister will make a statement in the parliament shortly, in which she, reportedly, will warn lawmakers against the second referendum on Brexit.
