Russian LNG Exports Up 70.7% Year-on-Year to 33.3 Mcm in January-October - Customs

Russia increased its exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 70.7 percent year-on-year to 33.3 million cubic meters (1.18 billion cubic feet) in the first 10 months of this year, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said on Friday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th December, 2018) Russia increased its exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 70.7 percent year-on-year to 33.3 million cubic meters (1.18 billion cubic feet) in the first 10 months of this year, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said on Friday.

Russian exports of natural gas increased by 7 percent year-on-year to 183.6 billion cubic meters over the same period, the FCS added.

Russia's revenues from LNG exports for the period were up 83.3 percent year-on-year to $4.6 billion, while proceeds from natural gas exports during this period rose by 30.9 percent to $39.9 billion.

According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia exported 210.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas, earning $38.1 billion in revenue last year, while LNG exports totaled 24.4 million cubic meters worth $3.17 billion.
