Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said Thursday he had spoken to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan, adding that the expulsion of a Russian diplomat had not been discussed.
MILAN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th December, 2018) Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said Thursday he had spoken to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan, adding that the expulsion of a Russian diplomat had not been discussed.The ministers talked on the go after a photo session of the OSCE foreign ministers.
"We did not discuss anything in essence, these are not the proper circumstances," Lajcak told reporters.
Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini, citing the Defense Ministry's military intelligence, said Wednesday Slovakia was expelling a Russian diplomat suspected of espionage activities.
