UK Defense Ministry Issues Secret Warning Over Russian TV Crew - Reports

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd December, 2018) The UK Defense Ministry issued a top-level confidential alert at every military base across the country after a Russian tv crew was spotted near a secret cyberwarfare facility in Berkshire, media has reported.

According to the Daily Mail, Russian TV reporter Timur Siraziev and his cameraman were seen filming near the fence of the UK 77th Brigade, a top-secret unit that deals with electronic and psychological warfare. Shortly after, all military commanders across the United kingdom were ordered to contact police if they see Russian reporters near their facilities, the media said.

The screenshot of the leaked "official-sensitive" alert provided by the newspaper indicates that it was "not to be displayed in open sight or where the general public have view of it."

Siraziev's coverage with the footage from the proximity of the secret facility was aired on Russia's Channel One on November 22. The reporter claimed that the 77th Brigade was producing fake news, including staged videos of the alleged chemical attacks in Syria.

The 77th Brigade is a combined regular and army reserve unit responsible for using "legitimate non-military levers" as a means "to adapt behaviors of the opposing forces." The brigade includes teams to carry out cyberwarfare, exert psychological influence and conduct information operations.
