BUENOS AIRES (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th November, 2018) Argentina is ready to give preferential treatment to Russian investors who are willing to invest in the country because Russia is a major player in different sectors, Argentine Production and Labor Minister Dante Sica told Sputnik.
"Russia is an important actor in various sectors and that is why all [Russian] investors who will be willing to come to us will be given preferential treatment," Sica said.
The minister noted that the Argentine Production and Labor Ministry did not have a separate agreement with Russia, but the country was interested in developing cooperation with Moscow when it came to car parts and capital as well as in other sectors.
"We would be interested in Russian companies participating in bidding," the minister said, adding that Russia had well-developed technology in industry, energy and transport.
According to Sica, Argentina also intends to sign an agreement on trade and investment with China during the upcoming G20 Summit in Buenos Aires, which will be held on Friday and Saturday.
