TBILISI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th November, 2018) Salome Zourabichvili, the Georgian independent presidential candidate, supported by the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party, received 59.59 percent of votes in the second round of the country's presidential election, the data of Georgia's Central Election Commission showed after 89.77 percent of the ballots have been counted.
Opposition candidate Grigol Vashadze garnered 40.41 percent of the votes, according to the commission.
The presidential runoff was held in Georgia on Wednesday.
