The United States will be represented by Vice President Mike Pence and US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.
Obrador won a landslide victory Mexican presidential election in July having gained over 53 percent of votes.
The president-elect's swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for December 1.
