Ukrainian Parliament Sets Presidential Election For March 31

KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th November, 2018) Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, voted on Monday to set the country's presidential election for March 31, 2019, adopting the respective resolution.

"Ukraine's Rada decided to set the next presidential election in Ukraine for Sunday, March 31, 2019," the statement reads.

In addition, the Ukrainian parliament approved the decree of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, which proposed to introduce martial law in selected regions of Ukraine along the border with Russia as well as along the coast of the Black Sea and Sea of Azov for 30 days after the Kerch Strait incident.
