VIENNA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th November, 2018) The Permanent Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will hold a special meeting on Monday on the situation in the Kerch Strait, a source in the Russian delegation told Sputnik.

The Council usually meets on Thursdays.

"A special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council will be held today at 4:00 pm Vienna time to assess the situation in the Kerch Strait," the source said.

On Sunday, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said three Ukrainian naval vessels had illegally crossed the Russian sea border, entered the temporarily closed area of the Russian territorial waters, and were moving from the Black Sea toward the Kerch Strait. The Ukrainian ships did not react to legitimate demands of the ships accompanying them, made dangerous maneuvers and were detained.
