Three Ukrainian Ships Breach Russian Border, Moving Toward Kerch Strait - Security Service

SIMFEROPOL (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th November, 2018) Three ships of the Ukrainian Naval Forces crossed on Sunday the Russian border, entered the temporarily closed area of the Russian territorial waters, and are currently moving from the Black Sea toward the Kerch Strait, the press service of the Russian Federal Security Service's border control department in Crimea said.

"This morning, at around 7 a.m. Moscow time [04:00 GMT], three ships of the Ukrainian Naval Forces have breached the 19th and the 21st articles of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, which determine coastal states' right for ensuring security in sea. They have crossed the state border of the Russian Federation, and they have unlawfully entered the temporarily closed area of the Russian Federation's territorial sea," the press service said.

The pres service went on to say that the ships were currently moving from the Black Sea toward the Kerch Strait.
