ROME (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd November, 2018) Moscow notes Riyadh's efforts to investigate opposition Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday.
"We have already said it is necessary to complete the investigation as soon as possible. We note that the Saudi authorities are conducting this investigation, we note that they are cooperating with the Turkish authorities, and we will wait for the final verdict as soon as possible," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with his Italian counterpart Enzo Moavero Milanesi.
